Evaluate an AI classifier with CSV test cases
Run three labelled synthetic messages through an AI workflow and check each predicted category.
Requirements: A configured model; includes cases.csv.

The steps
- Three CSV samples
- Model classification
- Allowed-category check
- Expected-label check
Run it in Bandura
- Install Bandura. Read the platform’s installation notes.
- Extract the ZIP into a new folder. Keep the included files together.
- Choose File → Open Folder and select that folder. Open
workflow.aether. - Configure your model in Settings → AI, use Test connection, then press Run. Follow the setup guide.
- Select a step to inspect results and variables. For CSV evaluation, review the row results in History.
Expected result
Three passing rows when the model returns the supplied labels. Any incorrect label fails the run. Three samples do not prove future accuracy.
Try a failure
Change one expected label in cases.csv to an incorrect category and run again. A matching model answer should now fail that row’s expected-label check. Restore the example after inspecting the failed step.

Validation and limits
Prepared October 1, 2026. Format and execution checks target source version 1.0.0 using deterministic model responses and a local HTTP echo fixture. Real Ollama/LM Studio model output and the public echo service are not guaranteed by those tests. Setup and troubleshooting.
Use synthetic data while learning. Prompts request a format; assertions verify it. They cannot guarantee model correctness. Review outputs before connecting the workflow to real actions. Bandura has no built-in scheduling or hosted execution.
